Bought in the UK in January 2023, we chose this Defender 90 as the chassis and body were in immaculate condition and it had been mechanically well looked after. This build is our take on a fun urban type soft top.
Basically a full nut and bolt resto/mod build while keeping the drive train original.

Vehicle stripped to the chassis and chassis blasted then epoxy primed and painted.

New suspension - Bilstein
New shock towers
All new bushings and ball joints
All new hardware
Near steering arms
New bearings and brakes
50mm spacers with Evo Corse 18 inch wheels and BFT AT tires
Engine
Engine, trans and transfer case inspected and found to be in good condition. Original miles said to be under 100k miles but officially unknown. The engine runs great with good compression so this seems right.
Engine has new timing belt and seals
New radiator and intercooler
Body/Interior
This build is our take on a fun urban type soft top
All body panels stripped and primed and painted in Fuji white
Tub stripped and painted with Mipa protection on the underside
Seat box removed and treated the same
Inner wheel arches powder coated
Bulkhead pulled and inspected and repainted
Rer bulkhead removed and replaced with tubular NAS style bulkhead removal bar
Soft top in Mohair by All Wheel Trim
Safety Devices NAS style roll cage
Rear iroko deck - Automotive Woodwork in England
Seats by Kens Customs - Warwick Ultra Vinyl and suede with perforated inserts and pink stitch We absolutely love these
