Announcing our new website for Sonoran Rovers Tours
Well here we have it folks, our first newsletter! We were delighted to see 350 of you sign up over the last year, we’ll keep these short with a few small announcements and a little bit of story about what we’ve been up to.
When I started this business as a hobby in 2017 I was still working as a middle school classroom teacher and after bring our first Defender into the country I was fortunate enough to be able to use it at our school as apart of our outdoor ed program. The idea of running tours emerged over the course of that year and later took root as we drove Alfie from Tucson to Argentina in 2018.
Over the course of the following 4 seasons and after consolidating and refining our process on sourcing and building Defenders, we are announcing a new season of 5 day tours on our new www.sonoranroverstours.com site.

We're very excited to announce a new tour to El Pinacate in the heart of Sonoran Desert. This federally protected area is a relatively undisturbed, ecologically and culturally rich environment and showcases a wide variety of volcanic and geological features.

These are a few of our latest vehicles from Europe. On the left we have Barry's Defender out in the Dingle peninsula in West of Ireland. On the right a 97 Defender now on the way to Tennessee after being sourced in Cambridge.
